Consulting company providing back-office support to government contractors seeks part-time, virtual HR Assistant preferably with govcon experience.

Hours/Schedule: Approximately 20-30 hours/week, flexible schedule

Benefits: Company does not offer benefits for part-time or contract positions.

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Location Requirements: All work is remote but candidate must reside in DC metro or Boston metro areas

Rate: $35-40/hour

Job Description: This role would support day-to-day HR operations, primarily back office and administrative, including administrative support for employee lifecycle activities, and general HR coordination. This person would support a variety of clients through a Senior Consultant.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in human resources role, experience in govcon preferred
• Willingness to learn and take direction well
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to proactively support multiple projects and timelines efficiently
• Initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills a must
