Job Summary
Alaska Regional Hospital is seeking a licensed Social Worker for a travel assignment in the healthcare facility. This position involves assessing social situations, developing plans, and participating in multidisciplinary team rounds for discharge planning. Job Details
- Position: Social Worker (Specialty: Social Work)
- Location: Alaska
- Shift Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 11/09/2026
- End Date: 02/08/2027
- Required Qualifications: LMSW or Masters in Social Work or equivalent educational degree, active Alaska Social Work license, experience with EMR-EPIC and MIDAS, 1 year of relevant experience, must have secured housing and transportation prior to acceptance.
- Preferred Qualifications: Willingness to consult with other professionals, creativity, independent starter.
- Additional Information: The position involves rotational coverage in the emergency room, mother/baby units, and all units within the facility. The Social Worker will be on a team covering assessment of social needs and participation in discharge planning, with no on-call requirements and occasional weekend coverage.
