Key responsibilities Manage, coach, and develop a distributed Lab Operations team while planning staffing based on demand trends Own day-to-day operations including lab result review, order investigations, and proactive issue resolution Improve SOPs and workflows to enhance operational consistency and scalability while interfacing with vendors and cross-functional teams Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in hiring and managing operations teams through growth Proven operational judgment in solving exception-heavy problems beyond scripted processes Experience in building or significantly improving SOPs, SLAs, and operational processes Experience managing distributed teams across multiple time zones Background in healthcare operations, diagnostics, or logistics where accuracy is critical
