Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submission Certifications: BLS, ARRT (Advanced Certification preferred) Must-Have: Neuro experience required. Inpatient hospital experience required. Experience with PACS and contrast application needed. Proficient in all interventional radiology procedures, including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, biopsies, drainages, and vascular studies required. Experience with both Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment required. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Any call offs or additional RTO could possibly lead to a cancellation. Traveler experience is required; first-time travelers will not be accepted. Local candidates are accepted. Skills related to neuro procedures and body procedures are required. The patient age group primarily includes adults and geriatrics, with some adolescents included. Daily case load ranges from 13 to 17. Candidates should possess the ability to perform both neuro interventions and body procedures. Scrub experience is required. Candidates must be available for classes each day during the hospital orientation week. Weekend and evening/nights on-call rotation is required, including primary and backup call responsibilities. No float requirement within the unit is necessary. Candidates must adhere to a staggered start time between 0700 and 0830 on weekdays. Travel pairs are allowed, provided they are on different units and disclosed. All RTO must be pre-approved, with up to 7 days being automatically approved (excluding holidays). Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility, as per job description requirements. Pre-start modules are non-billable and must be completed prior to the starting date. Training and orientation modules should be conducted online using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
