Position Overview
We’re hiring a Welder Technician to support a busy manufacturing environment in Arlington. This role focuses on welding, fabrication, and assembly of metal components while maintaining strong quality and safety standards. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with consistent hours and room to grow.

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and basic weld symbols
- Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG/TIG/Stick depending on the area)
- Weld and assemble metal components to specifications
- Measure, fit, and tack parts prior to final welds
- Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, and accuracy
- Grind/clean welds as needed and maintain a clean work area
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Assist with general shop tasks as needed (material handling, staging parts)
Requirements
- Previous welding experience in a production or shop environment (school/trade training considered)
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow written instructions/prints
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of shift
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Welding certification(s)
- Experience with fabrication tools (grinders, saws, drills)
- Forklift experience
