Responsibilities

Pizza Delivery : Safely transport orders from Pembroke Pizza to customers' locations in a timely and efficient manner.

Customer Interaction : Engage with customers upon delivery, ensuring exemplary service and addressing any immediate concerns.

Order Verification : Verify orders before leaving the restaurant to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Payment Handling : Collect payments when necessary and ensure accurate transactions.

Vehicle Maintenance : Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it operates smoothly and safely.

Team Collaboration : Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to coordinate order timing and accuracy.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License : Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Driving Experience : Experience as a delivery driver or in a related driving role is preferred.

Knowledge of the Area : Familiarity with Virginia Beach and surrounding areas to ensure efficient delivery routes.

Time Management : Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery deadlines.

Customer Service Skills : Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with customers.

Physical Ability : Capability to lift and carry heavy items such as pizza boxes and other orders.

Availability : Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Reliable Transportation : Access to a reliable vehicle for timely deliveries.

Team Collaboration : Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced team environment.

Problem Solving : Proactive in addressing and resolving delivery-related issues promptly.
