JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of activities to assist in dispensing medications throughout appropriate areas of the Hospital; delivers medications to nursing units, prepares injectable medications, unit doses, IV admixtures, etc.; completes necessary record keeping and performs other duties as assigned. Works in partnership with other staff members and pro-actively identifies and provides for the customers' needs using the LifeBridge Health customer service standards as identified on each campus. Performs related duties as required or assigned.
EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATIONS:
Maryland Pharmacy cert license
National certification (PTCB Certificate or NHA's ExCPT Certificate) must be taken within 1 year of hire and obtained within 18 months of hire.
