North Wind Construction Services provides heavy civil construction services with special expertise in mine reclamation, repository construction and operation, landfill closures, and stream restoration. Operations began in northern Idaho, but have expanded to new regions including Las Vegas, Seattle, and Oak Ridge. The Construction Services team is known for the successful completion of projects in challenging conditions that are often in remote locations throughout the U.S. North Wind Construction Services is a certified 8(a) and small disadvantaged business.
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Laborer shall perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Performs manual and skilled labor tasks such as collecting debris from work site, and using tools and equipment such as: hand tools, hand held power tools, and small-mechanized equipment to provide labor support on a variety of construction projects. May tend pumps, compressors, and generators. Load, unload, identify, and distribute site materials to the appropriate location according to project plans. Assist with setting/reading survey grade stakes (cut and fills).

The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The majority of the work will involve manual labor tasks in outdoor conditions and often in inclement weather. Terrain may be steep and in mountainous terrain.
