Surgery - Thoracic Physician Assistant

Shift : 07 : 00 AM 03 : 00 PM

Description :

• Setting : Inpatient
• Schedule :
• Monday Friday, 6 : 30 AM 3 : 00 PM
• Call and call backup begin at 3 : 00 PM
• Weekend call starts Friday at 3 : 00 PM and ends Monday at 6 : 30 AM
• Call Requirements :
• 1 call day per week and 1 backup call day
• 1 : 4 weekend call rotation
• 20-minute response time
• Low call-back need (typically 1 2x per month)
• Credentialing : 30 days

Responsibilities :

First assist role for assisting cardiothoracic surgery procedures and vein harvesting

Minimum of 3 assists scheduled per day

1 3 surgical procedures per day

No hospital rounding or admission responsibilities

Requirements :

Updated CV

ACLS and BLS

Board Certified (BC)

Licensed in Wisconsin
