Our Welcome Center Associates are the friendly faces that provide top-notch service to both visitors and residents along the South Shore. From sharing insider tips on the areas many restaurants and attractions, to helping guests find the perfect souvenir in our gift shop stocked with custom Indiana products, to hopping aboard the Tour Mobile to represent the South Shore at festivals, concerts, and events our team makes every interaction memorable.

And if that wasnt exciting enough, this seasonal / temporary position also brings you to the heart of the holiday magic! Each winter, the Indiana Welcome Center is home to the world-famous A Christmas Story Comes Home Exhibit, featuring six animated window displays from the classic holiday movie. Associates will help welcome thousands of visitors eager to relive the nostalgia, take photos with the iconic leg lamp, and participate in themed activities such as write-a-letter-to-Santa, crafts, field trips and more. Its the ultimate way to spread holiday cheer while having fun at work!

The Ideal Candidate Will Have :

• Outgoing and energetic personality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Moderate computer skills
• Basic cash handling experience
• Enthusiasm for festivals, events, and concerts
• Ability to stand for 6+ hours per day
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
• Valid drivers license
