Business Developer - Outside Sales

Job Full Description

We are looking for a local Business Development Representative to join our team in Solano and Napa County.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Increase sales in assigned territory (Solano / Napa) by making effective in-person, electronic, and telephone contacts with new client companies.

2. Maintain current account information records, prepare all reports, and provide feedback to recruiting and operations personnel on a timely basis.

3. Implement local office's sales plan and attain target goals.

Essential Functions : (90% of Sales Representative's time)

• Establish new business accounts

Develops and maintains reliable sources of information that provide timely and accurate data about new business opportunities.

Analyzes the local market for potential application of contingent staffing options and recruiting services.

Conducts prescribed number of personal sales calls on companies within the established territory, obtaining information about prospect's business, decision makers, and new business opportunities.

Conducts follow-up calls as necessary.

Prepares and presents sales proposals to prospective clients' decision maker(s).

Joins and actively participates in approved civic and professional organizations to develop contacts for future business relationships.

Represents Express Employment at local job fairs, and community services projects.

Communicates with internal staff daily concerning client-pertinent information such as contacts, associate usage, required skills, office and plant equipment, and any necessary follow-up activity.

Advises appropriate internal staff member about client problems and develops account specify marketing plans.

Completes weekly and monthly reports on activity, results, programs, etc.

Attends required meetings, conferences, and training sessions, some of which may involve out-of-town and overnight travel.
