About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 50-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. The assignment begins on October 1, 2025, with varying day and call shifts through January 2, 2026. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a variety of cases including Obstetrics, General Surgery, Endoscopy, Gynecology, Orthopedics, and Podiatry under Medical Direction. This role involves both day shifts (typically 7 AM to 3 PM) and call shifts. The position requires proficiency with Epic electronic health records system and offers the possibility of extension beyond the initial 50-day period.

LOA : 50 days

Provider Type Needed : CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)

Schedule : Varied day shifts (7 AM - 3 PM) and call shifts as specified

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop anesthesia plans
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures
  • Manage post-operative pain and recovery
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period
  • Utilize Epic electronic health records system for documentation
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Adhere to all facility policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed
