As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Fri 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies for the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and / or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate actions based on the situation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general information as needed, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas of the location to help deter unauthorized access.
  • Document incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Support emergency response activities and participate in drills and / or real events as directed by site leadership.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any security-related concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work in hospital environments including areas such as the morgue.
  • Must be able to safely restrain individuals as required in hospital settings.
  • Must provide proof of required vaccinations for hospital environments.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
