Salary Range : $22 - $28 per hour

Here’s what Skillit needs from you :

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Taper in commercial construction projects.

Strong knowledge of taping techniques, tools, and materials.

Ability to achieve a flawless finish with minimal sanding.

Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and construction plans.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Strong work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines.

Familiarity with safety protocols and personal protective equipment requirements.

High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification is a plus.

Here’s what you’ll be doing :

Apply tape, joint compound, and other materials to drywall seams, corners, and imperfections.

Sand, smooth, and prepare drywall surfaces for painting or finishing.

Ensure surfaces meet quality and safety standards in line with commercial construction specifications.

Repair or patch damaged drywall in existing commercial spaces.

Select appropriate materials and tools for each project to maximize efficiency.

Work from blueprints, drawings, or written instructions to complete assigned tasks.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area on the jobsite.

Collaborate with other trades and project teams to meet deadlines and project requirements.
