As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong, visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. You will use your communication skills and a caring approach to help create a welcoming environment. What You'll Do

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a positive environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity, communicating promptly with the appropriate personnel.

Assist customers, visitors, and staff members with directions and inquiries as part of maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Support access control measures by monitoring entrances, exits, and other designated areas within the location.

Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to address site-specific concerns and help to maintain order.

Minimum Requirements

Six months or more of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles is required.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
