Talent Groups is hiring : Senior Microsoft.NET Web Developer in Madison

Our client seeks to hire two Senior Microsoft .NET Web Developer positions to design, develop, test, implement and maintain solutions and features for applications in the Microsoft .NET environment, while also designing and implementing Oracle database components to support those applications. The developer will provide reliable, responsive support for these projects and systems, including new development, enhancements, and support for existing applications as prioritized by the client. This role requires approximately 40 hours per week and involves working on multiple initiatives to develop new applications and redesign legacy applications to meet current business needs with supported technologies.

Hybrid Details : onsite 2 days per week

Duration : 5 months to start

• Must have proven work experience with application development, user interface development for custom applications and database design and development.
• Collaborate closely with team members and the Application Architect Lead to develop application solutions, create development plans, and ensure effective integration among information systems and the IT infrastructure.
• Understand interactions between applications and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements to continuously improve and align solutions with industry and client standards, as well as emerging business requirements.
• Translate user and process requirements into high‑quality deliverables, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Take initiative and own tasks or products, demonstrating excellent communication, time management, listening, collaboration, problem‑solving, and adaptability.

Our client has a large number of .NET custom applications and very high usage of GIS applications interfacing with other partners. This includes Web Applications, API services, Batch, GIS custom applications and reporting technologies :

Job Duties

Developer will follow the standard development life cycle along with standards and procedures for management and versioning of source code, file management and change management processes. The developer must look out for security concerns or issues when developing applications and follow security related protocols. Applications must be built and supported in compliance with requirements.
