Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available at an elementary school in Rockford, IL, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role involves working 37.5 hours per week from August 11, 2025, through May 21, 2026, with paid orientation on August 4-5.
Responsibilities include :
- Supporting students participation in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care needs
- Modifying tasks or environments to acmodate individual student requirements
- Conducting diagnostic and evaluation assessments as appropriate
- Preparing clear, prehensive reports based on assessments and observations
- Developing and maintaining IEP objectives and acmodations
- Collaborating with parents and school staff to municate student progress and support needs
Qualifications :
