We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide onsite support for our contract manufacturing partner in Faribault, MN . This facility produces a portion of our FCP (Filling, Can, Plastic) product line of vision inspection machines. General duties will include daily resolution of engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing issues while helping to ensure our contract manufacturer is meeting its shipping and quality commitments.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as Kestrel Vision’s on-site engineering representative, ensuring builds meet our design, quality, and delivery standards
- Troubleshoot issues related to engineering, supply chain, software loading, or acceptance testing — stepping in when problems require action or escalation
- Assist with bill of materials setup, ERP / MRP system administration, and keeping production schedules on track
- Maintain alignment with our contract manufacturer’s established processes, offering corrective action only when issues clearly impact quality, compliance, or delivery
- Provide clear communication between our internal teams and the contract manufacturer, balancing assertiveness with respect for the partner’s protocols
- Support new product introductions, and ensure quality standards are consistently met
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical) 5+ years of relevant experience (equivalent experience considered) Experience with ERP / MRP systems, BOM structures, and order-to-cash processes Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsKnowledge of low-volume, high-mix, engineered-to-order manufacturingExcellent communication and diplomacy skills — able to represent our company confidently while building trust with partner teamsProficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD or data analysis tools a plus Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt)We offer a comprehensive benefits package including :
