Triage Specialist

A company is looking for a Triage Specialist to perform effective telephone triage to support dermatology patients based on their needs.

Key Responsibilities

Answer phones and return voicemails to handle inquiries and transfer calls as needed

Relay pathology results, schedule appointments, and document conversations in the system

Prioritize skin cancers and explain procedures to patients, including pre-op assessments

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or higher

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Medical Assistant

CCMA / RMA Certification preferred

Experience with medical terminology and patient scheduling

Understanding of surgical procedures and common pathology diagnoses
