Responsibilities Position is based in a hospital and clinic setting with 8-hour day shifts Role involves approximately 50% inpatient, swing bed, and outpatient observation and 50% outpatient, primarily serving an elderly and chronic pain population Caseload includes total joints, low back / neck pain, and chronic pain conditions Some floating to inpatient med-surg unit as needed is required Uses Epic for charting; Epic experience is preferred No on-call or call back requirements Weekend and holiday work may be required, but is uncommon Dress code is casual attire Primary responsibilities include evaluation and treatment across inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on the elderly and chronic pain populations Limited orientation may be provided depending on the week Candidates must begin the medical compliance process within 48 hours of offer acceptance, or within 24 hours for a quick start References from two supervisors and copies of certifications are required for consideration Requirements Active Wisconsin PT license required if applicable Current AHA BLS certification required Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program At least 2 years of recent PT experience preferred, flexibility for the right candidate Demonstrated experience in both hospital and outpatient settings preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-638913.
