Overview

The Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of merchandisers as well as assisting sales teams with nurturing and growing client relationships. This role will also perform merchandising activities, constructing displays, stock SGWS products, and build and maintain displays in retail accounts as requested by sales teams or retail customers, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Train new Merchandisers on policies and procedures
• Oversee designated employees and monitor the work assigned to them
• Assist sales team with maintaining positive relationships with retail customers
• Ensure all company products are properly displayed
• Receive, investigate and resolve internal and external customer complaints and requests
• Perform merchandising activities as needed; cover routes when Merchandisers are out on vacation
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping. Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours. May require lifting / lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs. This position is deemed a safety-sensitive position. As such, any person who is given a conditional offer of employment will be required to pass a drug test.
