Job Title : Operator I (Onsite)

Location : Saint Paul, MN

Hours : 6 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM (Mon Thurs) | Pay Rate : 18.75 / hr

Contract Duration : 6 months

Position Overview

The Operator I will support the manufacture of medical devices in a cleanroom environment. This role involves assembly, inspection, testing, and packaging of products, with opportunities for cross-training. Candidates with prior soldering and microscope experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and build medical device products according to specifications.
  • Perform inspections and functional testing, including periodic microscope work.
  • Package and box finished products in compliance with quality standards.
  • Operate hand tools such as electrical torque drivers and screwdrivers.
  • Cross-train across multiple functions as needed.
  • Follow all safety and cleanroom protocols, including gowning, hair nets, beard nets, shoe covers, and safety glasses.

Qualifications

  • Education : High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience :

    • 1 3 years of cleanroom experience in the medical device industry .

  • Hands-on assembly experience with medical devices.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Familiarity with FDA and GMP regulations and SOPs.
  • Preferred : Soldering and microscope experience.
