A company is looking for a Patient Account Specialist who will handle patient financial responsibilities and inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Calculate and collect post-service patient financial responsibility amounts

Respond to patient inquiries regarding insurance and payment options

Document payment records and resolve client billing issues

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in medical billing and healthcare customer service

2+ years of experience with collections preferred

Strong knowledge of third-party insurance payer guidelines

High School diploma / GED required; Medical Billing Certificate preferred

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
