Lead RBT Trainer

Overview

The RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Lead Trainer is responsible for overseeing the training and development of RBTs within the organization. The Lead Trainer ensures that all RBTs receive comprehensive and ongoing training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and that their skills are consistently evaluated and enhanced to meet both organizational standards and the unique needs of the neurodivergent learners served. This role includes conducting training sessions, mentoring new hires, and providing feedback.

Responsibilities

Training Delivery

• Provide training sessions to newly hired Behavior Technicians on the basics of ABA Therapy.
• Facilitate roleplay activities to engage trainees and help them practice various ABA techniques.
• Participate in six shadow sessions as a lead Behavior Technician, mentoring new Behavior Technicians in real-world scenarios.
• Implement comprehensive training programs for new RBTs and ongoing professional development for current staff.
• Conduct hands-on training in ABA principles, data collection, behavior management strategies, and intervention techniques.
