Cloud Architect

Location : Chicago, IL (On-site & Remote)

Position : Cloud Architect Cybersecurity

We are seeking a Cloud Architect with a strong cybersecurity focus to design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a strong understanding of cloud security architecture, compliance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement secure cloud architectures aligned with business and regulatory requirements

Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices

Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and security teams to ensure secure deployment pipelines

Lead threat modeling and security assessments for cloud infrastructure

Monitor and improve cloud security posture (e.g., IAM, encryption, network security, logging)

Requirements :

5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and cybersecurity

Hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP security services

Strong knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security, and cloud compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS)

Experience with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP) preferred
