K'ich Legal Translator and Interpreter

A company is looking for a K'ich - Legal Documentation - Translator, Editor, Transcriber and / or Interpreter.

Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate translation, editing, and transcription of legal documents and audio files from K'ich, Quich to / from English

Edit legal documents and audio transcriptions while adhering to style guides and quality standards

Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

U.S. citizen willing to undergo a government background check for Public Trust Clearance Moderate Level

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

At least 3 years of experience in translation and editing between English and K'ich, Quich

At least 3 years of experience in audio transcription using relevant software

Familiarity with legal terminology in both English and K'ich, Quich
