Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Driver

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Weslaco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate : $13.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Tuesday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Friday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Saturday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sunday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential hazards.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or hazards encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
  • Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions within the location, adapting patrol routes and response as necessary.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
