Estimated Weekly Salary Estimated Weekly Pay Range : $1,630 - $1,750 per week Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Trauma ICU Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Location : Asheville, NC 28801 (North Carolina healthcare jobs) Unit : Neuro Trauma ICU (NTICU) Number of Beds : 20 Shift : 12-Hour Days (6 : 45AM - 7 : 15PM) Hours per Week : 36 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Dress Code : Navy blue top and bottom or navy bottom with white top ICU RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state) BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred) Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (trauma ICU or surgical ICU background required) Proficiency with critical care equipment : Camino ICP, CRRT, EVD, wound vacs, arterial / CVC lines EMR experience (Cerner preferred) Strong teamwork and communication skills Preferred : TNCC and ATCN certifications ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed Neuro Trauma ICU Assist with and perform procedures such as central line, chest tube, arterial line insertions, and percutaneous tracheostomies Monitor and manage patients using advanced ICU equipment (Camino ICP, CRRT, EVD, wound vacs) Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float as needed to MICU, NSICU, CICU, CVICU, K7 PCU, G7 PCU, and 4H CVPC units Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner EMR Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Take the next step in your ICU nursing career and experience the best of Asheville, NC.
