QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. or doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, or a closely related field like Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Materials Science. All areas of research specialty are accepted, and industry experience is also desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
The successful candidate should have demonstrated promise of excellence in teaching, a record of scholarly achievement, an entrepreneurial spirit and an interest in working with highly motivated undergraduate students. While it is anticipated that these positions will be filled at the Assistant Professor level, highly qualified applicants will be considered for higher ranks. The success of our undergraduate students is our primary focus.
