ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Job Details :

Work 36 / 48 hour alternating schedule with 84 hours biweekly and 72 hour guarantee

4 : 1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends

48 hours of orientation required

Weekend coverage required

Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Work in 62-room emergency department with daily census of 190

3 years of experience preferred, 2 years accepted if from high volume / trauma facility

No first-time travelers accepted

Travel experience required

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS

Epic charting system experience preferred

Must complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer

Local candidates within 50-mile radius not accepted

License in-hand required before start date

Documentation due 3 business days prior to start date

Orientation modules completed during first 16 hours (non-billable), averaging 2-3 hours

Facility :

This healthcare facility operates a high-volume emergency department with 62 rooms and serves a daily census of 190 patients. The facility provides comprehensive emergency care for patients across all age groups and offers Level II trauma services. The emergency department is supported by interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries to ensure comprehensive patient care.
