Security Officer - Logistics Screener And Patrol

As a Security Officer - Logistics Screener and Patrol in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. Pay Rate : $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time

Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Carry out security-related screening procedures for personnel, visitors, and / or packages entering the logistics and distribution location.
  • Follow site-specific policies and protocols while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by answering questions and offering assistance as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential issues.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities as required by the location and Allied Universal guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
