The Opportunity :
The Senior Coordinator of Development will support the Development team to execute Greenlining’s ambitious fundraising goals by providing administrative support and project management for the team. This includes grant coordination, individual donor stewardship and engagement, and database management. Reporting to, and partnering with the Development Director, the Senior Coordinator of Development will work alongside an energetic and high-achieving team of Development, Communications, and Events professionals, as well as our Policy and Finance & Operations teams to ensure our day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Program Responsibilities :
Grant Management
Track proposals, reports, budgets, and other grant materials for a portfolio of foundation and corporate fundraising relationships, including sponsorships, ensuring timely submission and adherence to all deadlines
Maintain and administer team information systems including, but not limited to, Salesforce CRM, Asana, and Google Suite.
Conduct prospect research and support preparation of briefing materials to inform donor cultivation meetings
Support the assembling of grant materials
Coordinate the completion of grant reports and updates with program teams
Individual Donor Stewardship & Engagement
Support the execution of donor cultivation and donor engagement strategies
Maintain high-functioning donor database and leverage data to understand donor trends and support timely donor engagement activities
Provide administrative support for direct donor communications and donor retention strategies, working with the Communications team to leverage marketing tools to meaningfully connect donors to Greenlining’s work
Support in the development and coordination of individual donor cultivation campaigns and fundraising events
Lead the execution of the specific fundraising campaigns including the End of Year Individual Donor Campaign
Database Management
Serve as a Salesforce System Administrator
Work alongside Salesforce consultants to aid projects, manage upgrades and ongoing maintenance of Greenlining’s Salesforce database to bolster data-based insights that inform organizational strategies and create greater efficiency in org-wide processes
Gather detailed requests for improvements or changes to the system and coordinate with external Salesforce consultants as needed
Handle basic administrative functions including user maintenance, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other routine tasks
Alongside Salesforce consultants, plan ahead for upgrades, seasonal releases and long term projects
Additional duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
HS Diploma or GED required
2 years of experience in a coordinator role fundraising, including proposal writing, grant reporting, individual fundraising, and funder research, ideally in a nonprofit setting.
Strong understanding of racial justice issues and commitment to championing causes that serve communities of color
Excellent attention to detail and project coordination skills
Demonstrated excellence in organizational planning and administrative support
Demonstrated interpersonal skills including flexibility and the ability to listen, negotiate and collaborate with various stakeholders
Ability to work independently and be both creative and strategic when confronted with complex and multifaceted opportunities and challenges
A positive attitude, compassion, and strong team-oriented work ethic
Proficient in Salesforce, Slack, Google Suite, Cvent, and Asana
Ability and willingness to travel, as needed, to events and conferences throughout the state and possibly other locations
SALARY : The starting salary range for the position is between$76,760.00 - 81,299.00 .
