Preconstruction Manager – Commercial & Healthcare Construction

📍 Location : Nashville, TN area

💰 Salary : $120,000 – $150,000 base + performance bonus

About the Role

An established general contractor is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating efforts on commercial and healthcare projects. You’ll handle estimates from bid review through subcontractor buyout, manage proposals, and support the pursuit of competitive and negotiated work. This role is ideal for an experienced estimator ready to take on leadership responsibilities and mentor junior staff.

What You’ll Need

• 7+ years of estimating experience (commercial and / or healthcare projects)
• Strong knowledge of subcontractor prequalification and buyout
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Timberline or similar)
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Experience with conceptual estimating and value engineering preferred
