Descripción del trabajoInterested in temp to perm 2+ years working as an MA in Internal Med / Family Practice 6 months of Pediatrics experience Experience with Quest Diagnostic laboratory submissions Phlebotomy certification Understanding of medical terminology Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans Greet patients, take appropriate vital signs, review current meds, and record in the medical record Assist with tracking and monitoring department specific data Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice Set up exam / procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines Administer immunizations, injections, or oral medications as directed by provider Draw and prepare designated lab work or specimens as directed by provider
Urgent Hiring For PART-TIME MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Job Location : PLAYA VISTA, CA
Job Duration : 18 weeks
Shift : Day 3x8-Hour (07 : 30 - 17 : 30)
VARIABLE SCHEDULE WITH 20-24 HOURS PER WEEK
Experience : 2Years (Recent experience in a similar Internal / Family Medicine setting)
Certification : BLS, CMA
PAY : $22 / hr-$26 / hr
THIS IS A PART-TIME ROLE
VARIABLE SCHEDULE WITH 20-24 HOURS PER WEEK
- LOCALS ONLY - Must be within 50-minute commute
- Will draw 1-5 vials of blood from every patient in a high-volume clinic (100+ patients per day / 15 providers)
- Requires recent experience / expertise with venipuncture
