Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time Functional and Process Improvement Lead will conduct functional assessments, facilitate process mapping sessions, and develop actionable recommendations to enhance the quality and efficiency of specialty care services for Veterans. Key responsibilities Conduct functional assessments and identify process improvement opportunities across SCPO programs and initiatives Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and digital tools to support continuous quality improvement Collaborate with stakeholders to translate improvement opportunities into sustainable solutions and communicate findings to Government leadership Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field 4+ years of experience in process improvement, operations management, or program analysis, preferably in a federal agency or healthcare setting Experience with functional assessments, process/workflow mapping, and developing improvement recommendations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Power Platform applications Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work independently across diverse teams
