We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Flexo Folder-Gluer Operator to join our 2nd shift production crew .

What You’ll Do

As the Lead Flexo Folder-Gluer Operator , you’ll take ownership of machine setup, operation, and quality. You’ll also lead and mentor your crew, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time production.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Set up, operate, and maintain the Flexo Folder-Gluer (tooling, gluing systems, feeders, guides, delivery systems).
  • Lead and coach your crew on safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform quality checks, inspect samples, and ensure all boxes meet specifications.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate work orders with maintenance and supervision.
  • Manage job changeovers and verify setups before full production runs.
  • Track production data (output, downtime, waste) using the Encore PDE system.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and improve uptime.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of experience operating a Flexo Folder-Gluer in a corrugated manufacturing environment.
  • Prior lead operator or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read job tickets, specifications, and production logs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
