The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $86,100.00 to $143,500.00. With benefits starting on day one, our programs provide choice and flexibility to meet team members' individual needs, including :

The Manager, Environmental, Health and Safety - GUS implements and manages environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs for distribution facilities, branches, and offices in the specified territory in compliance with EHS legal requirements and the company's standards. The role helps train and educate team members on EHS requirements and practices and provides EHS subject matter expertise support to the supply chain leaders and team members. The leader reports to an EHS Senior Manager for the region and will collaborate with other EHS area managers across the company.

You Will :

  • Develop, implement, and lead EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance and prevent / reduce overall incidents and costs.
  • Perform frequent site safety audits to identify and mitigate EHS risks and injuries.
  • Promote a strong culture of EHS excellence and continuous improvement, develop and deliver effective EHS training, and provide guidance to supply chain leaders and team members.
  • Manage complex and cross-functional EHS improvement initiatives across the supply chain network.
  • Audit workplace and team member behaviors to ensure training, auditing, and scoring methods are accurate and consistent.
  • Analyze safety data to identify trends, recommend corrective actions, drive continuous improvement, and refine EHS processes establishing and reporting on site-level EHS performance metrics.
  • Support EHS incident investigations, identify root causes, ensure corrective actions are taken, and provide frequent status updates to supply chain partners and EHS leadership.
  • You Have :

  • Bachelor's Degree in a field specific to safety or equivalent related experience.
  • 5+ years EHS experience in distribution or manufacturing organizations.
  • Technical skills related to safety matters (Intermediate proficiency).
  • Ability to work with safety related databases and software (Intermediate proficiency).
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, ISO standards, and other EHS management systems (Advanced proficiency).
  • Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and influence strategy concerning EHS matters (Intermediate proficiency).
  • Skills in relationship development, collaboration, and enhancing EHS engagement.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CIH or equivalent professional certification. Preferred.
