Demand Planner | Newaygo, MI Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000 depending on experience Are you a forward-thinking professional with a passion for excelling in demand planner? The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Newaygo that are seeking skilled Demand Planners. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods and components. Utilize statistical forecasting models, market intelligence, and historical data. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Production to align demand plans. Analyze forecast accuracy metrics and identify root causes for deviations. Provide demand input for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Manage demand planning parameters within ERP/APO systems. Assess the impact of demand plans on inventory levels and customer service targets. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis. Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills with a solid understanding of various forecasting methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement. Bonus Qualifications Advanced proficiency with specialized forecasting software (e.g., SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis) Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP, IBF CPF) Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for presenting forecast insights Proficiency in statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python) for advanced analytical modeling Job Titles That Should Apply Demand Planner, Forecasting Analyst, Inventory Planner, Supply Chain Planner, S&OP Analyst, Demand Forecasting Specialist, Supply & Demand Planner, Planning Analyst Why Pivot Group The Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
