Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials where required, and help to deter unauthorized access while following post orders and client-facing service standards.
• Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance issues, assisting with directional needs, and communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and/or first responders during routine and unexpected events.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
