ProSidian Seeks a Senior Field Procurement Engineer - Administrative/ Business headquartered near Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina to support an engagement for Nuclear Energy Sector Clients. The Savannah River Site (SRS), a 310 square mile (198,046 acres) Department of Energy site, is located in the sand-hills region of South Carolina. It encompasses parts of Aiken, Barnwell and Allendale counties and is bordered on the west by the Savannah River and Georgia. SRS is close to several cities, including Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina. It is also within a few hours of Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Greenville and Charlotte.
This *** | Exempt position currently best aligns with the Senior Field Procurement Engineer (FPE) SC 102 Labor Category and ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while confidently engaging in productive "Jugaad" and dialogue targeting mission success. ProSidian Team Members work to provide temporary staffing support services to support Savannah River Remediation (SRR), the Liquid Waste (LW) Contractor located at the Department of Energy Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC 29808. Services anticipated includes storage, integration, treatment and disposition of the liquid radioactive waste being managed at the Savannah River Site (DOE).

Procurement of goods and services for the SRS Operating, Project and Support Divisions to support Site missions. Serve as the primary interface with SRS Divisions for all acquisition and procurement needs. Assist in the development of technical and quality requirements necessary for installation of parts and materials into safety and safety-related systems, structures and components. Interpretation of a multitude of requirements ranging from federal regulations to site wide procedures and policies to provide effective guidance and service in the procurement process.
Field Procurement services will be provided using SRR processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR.
TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements. Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations. LOCATION: Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina
