Green Brick Mortgage is seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our team in Plano, TX. As an Underwriter, you will evaluate and approve loan applications based on company standards and regulatory guidelines, ensuring the quality and profitability of the loans.
Supervision of Others: N/A
Authority/Budget/Decision Making/Discretion and Independent Judgment Ability: Utilizes discretion, judgment, and high-level analytical skills to interpret complex situations.
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field.
Competencies: Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and guidelines. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Proficiency in underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Effective communication skills.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage underwriting.
