Manager, AdTech Partnerships

We're seeking a technical yet commercially-savvy leader to build and scale strategic adtech, martech, and AI-driven partnerships across our ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of innovation and execution translating opportunity into action and helping Zip redefine monetization through next-gen advertising and marketing technologies. You'll bridge external partner needs with internal engineering, product, and ad ops teams, delivering scalable integrations that drive measurable growth.

This is a remote-first opportunity for US-based employees with the option to work in-person out of our Manhattan office.

About the Team

You'll join a high-impact cross-functional squad focused on scaling Zip's advertising ecosystem and monetization platform. Our team pilots new technologies, validates market-fit through experimentation, and rapidly operationalizes proven tools. We thrive in ambiguity, love a bold test-and-learn culture, and value strong collaboration across engineering, design, product, and commercial teams.

Interesting Problems You'll Get To Solve

  • Build and scale monetizable partnerships across adtech, martech, and BNPL ecosystemsretailers, fintechs, affiliate networks, and data providers.
  • Translate complex commercial opportunities into technical requirements for scalable integrations (e.g., placements, APIs, data feeds).
  • Serve as the technical-commercial bridge between external partners and internal product, engineering, and ad ops teams.
  • Deploy AI tools to automate campaign trafficking, enable predictive insights (e.g., revenue lift, churn risk), and scale personalized messaging.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and implement new adtech, martech, and AI solutions to expand Zip's advertising and monetization stack.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members across partner marketing and ad ops; help scale repeatable processes and operational excellence.
  • Own operational rigor, ensuring all partner initiatives meet compliance, legal, and technical standards (e.g., disclosures, link integrity).
  • Build internal documentation and external enablement playbooks that scale partnership integrations efficiently.
  • Drive continuous optimization of monetization performance using data, experimentation, and collaboration.
  • Partner with analytics to define and track KPIs across integrations, campaigns, and tools.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in advertising technology, programmatic platforms, or partnership enablement with proven revenue ownership.
  • Experience building scalable partner integrations across media, fintech, affiliate, or martech domains.
  • Ability to translate technical platform capabilities into commercial outcomesand vice versa.
  • Hands-on exposure to AI-driven tools or frameworks for personalization, automation, or analytics.
  • Strong ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead strategic initiatives without formal authority.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills, balancing speed, scale, and rigor.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using data to influence decision-making.
  • A mindset of continuous learning, improvement, and process simplification.
  • Passion for innovation, experimentation, and driving market differentiation.
  • Previous success in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally within fintech, ecommerce, or SaaS.

  • Zip is committed to a straightforward and transparent pay structure. The actual base salary will be determined by various individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, location, internal equity, as well as other objective business considerations.

    The annual base Pay Range for this position is $116,000 - $140,000. This range reflects our US national compensation band (USN). Additional premium percentages may apply based on our tiered premium strategy.

    Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and / or commission awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.

    If hired, employees will be in an 'at-will position' and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department / team performance, and market factors.
