This role offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant community while providing essential therapeutic services. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering specialized physical therapy interventions for patients requiring pelvic health services across various age groups. This position emphasizes restoring function, alleviating impairments, and promoting overall health and wellness. Daily responsibilities include patient examination, designing and modifying therapeutic interventions, preventing health issues through education, engaging in professional consultation, and maintaining meticulous patient records to ensure high-quality care and accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough patient examinations and assessments to identify impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities, leading to accurate diagnoses and prognoses. Design, implement, and modify evidence-based therapeutic intervention plans to address patient needs, improve functional abilities, and facilitate a return to daily activities. Educate patients and the community on injury prevention, health promotion, and wellness strategies across diverse age groups. Engage in professional consultation, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to community health initiatives and research as appropriate. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records, including physician orders, diagnosis, treatment plans, progress reports, attendance, and discharge summaries. Ensure timely submission of charges for services rendered in accordance with facility policies. Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (AMA-APTA approved). Minimum of four (4) years of recent, direct experience in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy. Preferred Qualifications Membership or eligibility for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Skills & Competencies Advanced clinical expertise in pelvic health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment modalities. Proficiency in developing and adapting individualized therapeutic exercise programs and manual therapy techniques. Strong diagnostic and prognostic reasoning skills to guide effective patient care. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient education, team collaboration, and professional consultation. Ability to maintain meticulous patient records and adhere to all documentation and compliance standards.
