PERSONNEL SPECIALIST
When you work in the civilian world, navigating the corporate ladder is up to you to figure out, for better or for worse. Personnel Specialists help Sailors navigate the questions, challenges and opportunities that come with moving up the ranks. As a Personnel Specialist (PS), you’ll serve as a trusted source of information for your fellow Sailors as they advance their careers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
These roles perform a variety of duties worldwide, at numerous overseas and stateside shore commands, aboard surface ships, aircraft and submarines. They generally divide time between assignments ashore and afloat.
PART-TIME OPPORTUNITIES
The role above is an Active Duty opportunity in the Navy, however there are part-time roles available. Serving part−time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Personnel Specialists in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes
