Position Type: 1 Full-Time In-Office Position (This is not a telework position). Location: Southwest Public Health District 8-2, Albany, Georgia. Paygrade/Salary: H-$ 39,124, I-$ 42,536. Bachelor's degree in public health, emergency management, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university, AND Two years of experience, OR a High School diploma or GED, AND Two years of experience in emergency management. Physical requirements include occasional lifting of up to 45 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous employment with any state's Department of Public Health or a County Board of Health, Computer skills (Office suite), Greater than one year of experience providing training or instructional services in a functional area, The ability to hitch, tow, and back a trailer, Experience developing collaborations/partnerships, Emergency Preparedness Experience, NIMS/ICS Courses: 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, 800, WEBEOC, GHA911, and ReadyOp Communication system experience, Bilingual in Spanish and English.

This Position may require driving company vehicles (Valid driver's license required) and working some evenings and weekends during special events such as health fairs and responding to disasters. Drug screen, criminal background check, and immunization records may be required. If selected, male applicants between 18 and 26 years of age must present proof of Selective Service Registration.
