1. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Track suppliers’ shipment status.
· Supervise suppliers’ short ship status and prevent production assembly shutdown.
· Release material orders based on customers’ demands, production schedules, in-house and transit inventory.
· Confirm material receipts and submit supplier invoices to ERP system.
· Ensure materials arrive on time.
· Review and report part price mismatch compared to purchase order price.
· Release and confirm weekly and/or monthly pick-up schedules with freight service providers.
· Manage engineering change and set breakpoint for new materials.
· Report supplier quality issues and prevent action plans to ensure assembly does not shutdown.
· Follow up on suppliers’ responses to quality alerts (QIS).
· Participate in engineering change management and quality issue follow up meetings.
· Manage inventory turnover.
· Work with quality department to ensure non-conforming products/parts procedures are being followed.
· Ensure inventory turnover target is managed accurately.
2. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Participate in cost saving activities.
· Other tasks as assigned.
3. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related fields.
· Experience with Shipping and Receiving is a plus.
· Experience with EDI: Delfor, Deljit is a plus.
