ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Ranson, West Virginia.

This position is located in the state of West Virginia.

\n\nAssignment Duration\n

This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

The shift required for this position is a full-time night shift, working from 7 PM to 7 AM. Rotating weekends and holidays are also part of the schedule.

\n\nJob Description\n

The SCU / Telemetry Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Surgical Care Unit and Telemetry unit. The patient population includes a diverse range of diagnoses, from trauma to surgical patients requiring monitoring.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Provide nursing care to patients, monitoring vital signs and administering medications.

    • \n

  • Assist in the management of patients on ventilators and other respiratory support systems.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including hospitalists and intensivists.

    • \n

  • Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system (EpicCare).

    • \n

  • Float to MedSurg if necessary, with a patient ratio of 1 : 5-6.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Current and unexpired nursing license.

    • \n

  • Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

    • \n

  • NIHSS certification is a plus.
