Job Description :

We are currently hiring in our Hayward location. We offer a preschool program for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. We follow an emergent curriculum, learning through play.

Education & Experience :

  • The position requires the state of California minimum requirements for teaching at a daycare or a teacher's permit. Minimum requirement is to have 6 ECE units and be enrolled in a minimum of 3 more units until all 12 units are completed. Infant / Toddler class mandatory with an additional 3 units. No experience necessary; we are willing to train.

Other Requirements :

  • CPR and First Aid a plus but not necessary.
  • Live Scan fingerprinting mandatory.
  • Two references.
  • Flexible work schedule.
  • Able to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Must be PASSIONATE about children.
  • Current tuberculosis test. Must be willing to have a physical.
  • Proficiency in speaking and writing English.
  • Mandated Reporter training.
  • Sexual Harassment training.

    • Responsibilities & Duties :

  • Prepare a weekly curriculum.
  • Create a literacy-rich environment by reading books to children.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute art projects.
  • Provide attention to each child, responding to their needs for feeding, changing, napping, and other routines.
  • Maintain the health, safety, and education of the children.
  • Be a team player.
  • Assist with meals and snack preparation.
  • Stimulate emotional, intellectual, and social growth of children by developing and directing age-appropriate educational programs and activities.
  • Motivated to work with children of all ages.
  • Arrive punctually.
  • Assist with toileting and diapering.
  • Perform cleaning and organizing duties.
