We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Medical or Surgical Retina Specialist to join our practice. This opportunity provides immediate access to an established and expanding retina patient base supported by strong internal and community referral relationships, advanced technology, and long-term growth potential. This role is ideal for a physician who values clinical excellence, collaborative culture, and the ability to build a sustainable, high-quality retina practice within a well-supported environment. Responsibilities Established retina volume with strong internal and community referral network Opportunity to focus on medical retina or build/expand surgical volume Access to modern diagnostic imaging and in-office retinal procedure capabilities Support from experienced ophthalmologists, optometrists, technicians, and administrative staff Efficient infrastructure designed to minimize administrative burden Flexible scheduling with potential for long‑term growth and partnership‑style opportunity Diagnose and manage a broad range of retinal conditions, including: Diabetic retinopathy , a ge-related macular degeneration , r etinal vascular disease , and m acular edema Perform intravitreal injections, in-office retinal procedures, and laser treatments For surgical candidates perform vitreoretinal surgery including vitrectomy, membrane peels, retinal detachment repair and related procedures Collaborate closely with referring providers to ensure seamless patient care Deliver high-quality, compassionate, evidence-based care Qualifications and Experience MD or DO degree Completion of an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency Fellowship training in Medical or Surgical Retina Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Eligibility for medical licensure in Maryland Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused mindset Benefits Competitive compensation package with productivity upside Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer contribution Paid time off and holidays CME allowance and paid CME time Malpractice insurance Relocation assistance and sign‑on bonus available (if applicable) Why Join ReFocus Eye Health ReFocus Eye Health is committed to empowering physicians by reducing administrative burden, investing in clinical excellence, and fostering long‑term career satisfaction.
