Senior eDiscovery Technical Advisor Employment Type: Full‑Time, Executive‑Level Department: Legal CGS is seeking a dedicated Senior eDiscovery Technical Advisor to support various legal accounts and manage the company's eDiscovery portfolio. The role involves identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing electronic stored information (ESI) for civil, criminal, FOIA, and congressional requests, and serving as the technical expert for eDiscovery applications. Responsibilities Provide expertise in identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI for civil and criminal litigation, FOIA requests, congressional requests, and other inquiries. Support criminal discovery, including ESI handling for all criminal cases. Serve as the expert user of eDiscovery applications such as Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator, Legal Hold Management Tool (LHMT), and the Veritas eDiscovery Platform. Work with the litigation team to develop discovery plans documenting search parameters (e.g., date range, keywords, custodians). Use eDiscovery software to collect data from FBI storage locations (MS‑Exchange, shared drives, desktops, text and instant messages) in accordance with discovery plans. Analyze search/collection results to identify data gaps. Administer data inputs into the eDiscovery review platform (eDP): create cases, add collected source data, manage user access, upload logs, de‑duplicate data, merge and verify data, and ensure production quality with Bates numbering and load file creation. Coordinate collection results with FBI units responsible for processing, reviewing, redacting, and releasing data. Adhere to policies and technical procedures for eDiscovery software and provide training and assistance to agency attorneys, paralegals, and other users. Provide information and advice on the FBI's ESI processes, including identification, preservation, collection, analysis, and organization using eDiscovery software. Offer ad hoc support to end users of the electronic discovery review platform repository. Document eDiscovery plans and procedures for each case. Facilitate legal hold implementation, amendments, and lifts submitted by requesters in LHMT. Provide eDiscovery collections for criminal cases. Qualifications 5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience focused on client solutions. 3 years of progressive, responsible experience on major litigation support projects. 2 years of experience in Relativity beyond document review coding. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment. Experience with eDiscovery services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial). U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred). BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience; JD highly preferred.
